Since i arrived i japan in march 2004 i had 5 exhibitions (Osaka,Tokyo,Fujy)

Kaminendo is a sort of paper pasta used by japanese kid for modeling like play-do or clay but far better, its easy to use better than papier maché and its very compact and light when its dry.

I use it for making the faces of my comics characters

 Le kaminendo est une pate en papier (mais bien mieux que le papier maché car c’est une poudre de papier humide et non des copeaux) Quand il seche il devient dur et compact,on peut peindre facilement dessus.J’ai modelé les visages des personnages de ma BD.

 Here is the collages pages. Its recent works,2001 to 2005,for years i worked on collages-photomontages,i tryed to find a new way in this graphic art form.I first get inspiration from the Dada,surrealist and 30’s 40’s artist like Hanna Hoch,Heartfield and Haussman.Also Prevert’s collages and Terry Gilliam animated photos.I was at a crossroad and hesitated on this works but i made one day a collage with a picture of standglass,then i got the idea to make collages with a separation between the colors.Its lookalike standglass when you are far.Its also change the perpective and make the picture flat.I am now working on the printing of the pictures on cello paper and glue it on glass.With the use of light i will change the paper collage in a true standglass!

Pour souhaiter une joyeuse Saint Valentin aux amoureux, je vous montre mes deux petits personnages Bisous-chan et Bisous-kun (chan et kun = "San" mais pour les enfants ou entre proches,copain,copine)

My exhibition last month in Tokyo at Gallery Katak Katak,near Kyodo Station. Mon exposition du mois dernier à Tokyo à la galerie Katak Katak prés de la gare de Kyodo. 2月に　東京の　ガロ　カタくカタく　で　コテン　しました。となり　きょどう　駅。

I made the exhibition with Yasushi Yamauchi, an artist i met in Tokyo’s Design Festa 22 last december. J’ai fait l’exposition avec Yasushi Yamauchi un artiste rencontré à la Design Festa de Tokyo le mois dernier. 私　と　やまうち　やすしさん　こてん　しました。 Others pictures,d’autres photos,motto shashin

Hello! I am Marc, a 33 years old artist-graphist, i live in Japan, i went there for making some exhibition and i enjoyed my life here.
I decided to stay more,and get artist visa.Its my first blog, i wanted to show my works and talk about my life in Japan.
I live near mount Fujy in Shizuoka department, its a very beautiful place in countryside, and its only 1h30 by train to Tokyo.

Salut! Je suis Marc, un peintre-graphiste de 33 ans, je vis actuellement au Japon.J’y suis venu pour y faire des expositions et j’aime beaucoup ma vie ici.
J’ai decidé de rester et pour ce faire j’ai obtenue un visa d’artiste.Avec ce blog je veux montrer mes travaux et parler de ma vie la-bas.Je suis près du Mont Fujy dans le departement de Shizuoka.C’est superbe, la campagne japonaise tout en étant à 1h30 de Tokyo.
